This is a pattern to crochet your own Theresa May Voodoo Pincushion!

Materials used:

2 skeins of flesh pink coloured DK yarn

1 skein of light grey DK yarn – cut about 60 strands about 30cm long each

A strand of dark pink/red DK yarn

A strand of light brown DK yarn

2 x 8mm blue safety eyes

2 x 'pearl' type small beads

A strand of light pink or light grey sewing thread (to attach the beads)

A small piece of flesh pink felt

3.5mm crochet hook

Knitters needle (for weaving in ends etc)

Polyester fibrefill stuffing

Tacky PVA Glue

Fine black marker pen (or eyeliner!)

Finished size: Approximately 9.5cm tall

Abbreviations used:

mc = magic circle

ch = chain

sk = skip

st = stitch or stitches

sc = single crochet (US), double crochet (UK)

hdc = half double crochet (US), half treble (UK)

dc = double crochet (US), treble (UK)

sl st = slip stitch

sc2tog = decrease by working two sc together – see special instructions

As with all my patterns, this is written in US crochet terminology just because that's how I learned.
